Question:    Who can go on the Pow Wow Cruise

Answer: ANYONE can go on the PWC! We have a goal, that being to fill an entire ship with Natives from all over North America. We know it can be done and we will do it! The good news is the word about the PWC is spreading fast...all because of people who have been on the PWC and know what a fabulous time we all have. Until we can fill a ship, we will share it with regular passengers enjoying the cruise. This is good too, as many have been pleasantly surprised to see someone like Robert "Tree" Cody (6' 10" and $#& lbs) walking around the ship in his buckskin regalia before the powwow! Very impressive sight.

Question:    What if I have to cancel my cruise?

Answer: Each cruise offers the option to purchase insurance for your protection. This provides added luggage, medical and cancellation protection. The money paid for your cruise is refundable (less cost of insurance) if you must cancel at any time for qualified reasons due to personal accident, illness or injury. We strongly recommend everyone purchase this insurance. Without this insurance you could lose the entire cost of your cruise.

Question:    What time does the ship leave and when does it return.

Answer: Regardless of which day of the week we leave on our cruise, your time of arrival is always going to be recommended by us and usually around 12 noon the day of departure. The ship starts boarding around that time and departs around 5 p.m. The earlier you arrive and get onboard, the more time you'll have to enjoy your fun! As for returning, the ship will arrive back in port earlier the morning of the date of it's return. You'll usually be off the ship between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Question:    We need airfare, do we have to make our own flight arrangements

Answer: If you wish to, but we can assist you with your air travel as well as transfers to and from the ship. In fact, there is a level of security involved with booking your air through the cruise line. When you take their offered air/transfer package, they share the responsibility of getting you to the ship on time. If for some reason your flight is delayed and you miss the ship, the cruise line will take steps to get you to the ship as soon as possible. Whereas, if you make your own flight arrangements and you miss the ship, you are responsible for catching up to the ship, not the cruise line. In some cases you can save you money by making arrangements for airfare independent of the cruise line. If you do this, we strongly suggest you fly in the day before the cruise and get a hotel so you're not late to the ship on the following day. It's always up to you, we only recommend what we feel is in your best interest.
